Bournemouth Set David Brooks asking Price Amid Man Utd Interest
The Welsh international endured an injury hit campaign on the south coast which eventually saw The Cherries relegated to The Championship on the final day of the Premier League season. However, despite only featuring nine times, that did not stop the 23-year-old being linked with a move to the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, in spite of their relegation, Bournemouth have allegedly set a price of £40m for their starlet.
There is a growing belief that Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood are the three to carry the club's attacking options for the forseeable future after scoring 62 goals between them last season, with treble winner Andy Cole voicing his concerns over the potential transfer:
“For me, the best number nine in the world is Robert Lewandowski. But there aren’t many, if any, Lewandowskis about. And if they do bring in Sancho then you’ve got to be careful as you don’t want to block his (Greenwood's) progress.
“United do need to bring in players as you must improve every season but it’s a fine balance. If you have a player like Mason Greenwood then you can’t afford to block their progress.”
